This policy explains, in plain English, what personal data AI Made Simple For All ("we", "us") collects through aimadesimpleforall.com, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Who we are

AI Made Simple For All is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@aimadesimpleforall.com.

What we collect

  • When you sign up for our free kit and emails: your first name and email address, plus the date you signed up and confirmed.
  • When you open our emails: our email provider records whether emails are opened and links clicked, so we can see what's useful.
  • When you buy from us: your name, email and order details. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
  • When you visit the site: our hosting provider processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To send you the free kit and our weekly email, because you asked for them (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email.
  • To deliver anything you buy and handle any questions about it (contract).
  • To keep the website running and secure (legitimate interests).

We will never sell your data or share your email address with other businesses for their marketing.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Kit (email provider), which stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
  • Cloudflare (website hosting and security).
  • Our payment provider, for any purchases.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep your name and email for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only a minimal record so we don't email you again. Purchase records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires (normally six years).

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first and we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
